Breakout International Academy (“Breakout”, “we”, “us”) is a trading-education provider based in Kochi, Kerala. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our enquiry channels, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules.
Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
When you fill in the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name and phone number (used for calls and WhatsApp);
- your email address, if you choose to give it;
- where you are in your trading journey and your preferred language;
- the page you sent the form from, and the date and time.
When you apply for a job through our careers page, we collect:
- your name and phone number, and your email address if you choose to give it;
- the role you are applying for, and anything you choose to tell us in the note;
- your CV (the file you attach) and the details in it;
- the page you applied from, and the date and time.
When you message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us, we receive the details you share in that conversation.
To protect our forms from spam and abuse, our server records a one-way, scrambled version of your IP address (we never store the address itself) and your browser type. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Our classes are for adults only.
Why we use it
We use your data only to:
- call or message you back about your enquiry, our classes, batches, timings and fees;
- share information about the classes you asked about, through the channel you chose;
- keep a record of enquiries so that we can follow up properly and avoid contacting you twice;
- if you apply for a job, consider you for roles at the academy and contact you about your application;
- protect our website and forms against spam and abuse.
We process this data because you gave your consent when you submitted a form or contacted us. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who can see it
Your enquiry is seen by our admissions team. Job applications, including CVs, are seen by our hiring team. To run the website and our follow-ups, we use trusted service providers who process data on our instructions:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and the server that receives our enquiries and job applications;
- Cloudflare, which delivers this website securely and protects it from attacks;
- Google (Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Drive), to receive and record enquiries, and to store and track job applications and CVs;
- Telegram, to alert our team that a new enquiry or job application has arrived, and to deliver CVs to our hiring team;
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to chat with us there.
Some of these providers may store data outside India. We use them only for the purposes above. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you join a class, in which case we keep the records needed for your enrolment, fees and certificates for as long as the law requires. Spam-protection records are deleted after 90 days.
We keep job applications, including your CV, for 12 months after you apply and then delete them, unless you join our team. You can ask us to delete your application sooner.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent, after which we will stop contacting you (this does not affect anything done before you withdrew);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so that we can put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We limit access to enquiry and application data to the people who need it, keep it on secured accounts and services, and use encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this website. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if anything goes wrong.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we change how we handle personal data, for example if we add website analytics. The date at the top shows the latest version.
